I believe the cavity was routed cockeyed .

Can’t you just adjust the screws (the ones screwed into the body? Or re-drill?

  3. Fyl says:

Under further review the Floyd claw has been put in cockeyed . The springs are slanted . Neck joint is a little messy . The thing still plays well and sounds good . Mine Came set up better that my Carvin CT6 . The thing that really bugs me about this ax is the cockeyed Floyd springs .

Just received my black Bolero. First impressions; It is “Made in Korea”. Not a problem for me, but people were asking. Appears to have a maple top, however I can see a joint in the maple binding which doesn’t show up in the top which tells me it’s a photo or extremely thin veneer flame. Standard maple for the inch thick top (or at least the binding). Plays OK. I like the coil split. Neck pick-up is murky no matter which settings I use. Mine came expertly packed, but their so called “expert set-up” leaves a lot to be desired. The toggle switch had unscrewed and collapsed into the body. Threaded portion isn’t quite long enough for the top. Electronics were solid. No buzzes or pops. Tuners seem to be good quality. Massive jumbo frets. All-in-all a $400 guitar for $400. I picked up the lizard skin case on Amazon for $90 ($180 from DBZ). Nice case. Will probably use it for my Epiphone LP. Noticed that it is a thin guitar. At least a half inch thinner than my Epi LP. Weighs 8 lbs. I’d give it a 7 out of 10.

Real Floyd and EMG’s . I bought the Barchetta for $299.00. I Liked it so much my buddy bought one . The thing is solid ,plays and sounds great . That ax is a deal at $500.00
