At NAMM 2014 Bugera released the G5 Infinium 5-Watt Class-A Tube Amplifier with INFINIUM Tube Life Multiplier, MORPH EQ, Reverb and Power Attenuator. TheToneKing.com had a chance to give it a listen, and Bugera’s G5 definitely makes our Best of NAMM 2014 list.
TheToneKing.com has been covering Bugera’s INFINIUM technology ever since the beginning. If you’re still new to Bugera’s INFINIUM Tube Technology, here’s the low down:
Believe it or not, tubes go bad. And, when a tube goes bad, it’s not as simple as just popping a new tube into your amp and going about your merry way. At least, it wasn’t that simple until Bugera’s INFINIUM came along.
Besides for extending the lifespan of output tubes up to 20 times, INFINIUM lets players know when their tubes have reached the end of their lifespan before the tube fails. Gone are the days of your amp crashing out during a killer solo. INFINIUM also evenly distributes the load in the tube, giving you roaring crunch with more even harmonics, smoother tone, and more resonance. And, when you’re ready to replace your tube, you don’t have to pay some dude to bias the amp for you. Why? Because INFINIUM has a thing called auto-biasing. And auto-anything is kick ass. But auto-biasing? That shit’s the bomb!
Here are the specs for Bugera’s G5 INFINIUM.

What else can you expect from a company that’s part of the Uli Behringer network of awesomeness? Uli has been at the forefront of live audio since 1989. And with the G5 INFINIUM, it’s obvious that Bugera Amps is quickly making headway as an industry leader.
