    Thank you Tone King!!!!
I liked #3 (Danelectro Cool Cat V2 Fuzz) and #6 (Jim Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Classic Fuzz). the others I thought sounded a little too muddy. I appreciated the variance in sounds when you adjusted the controls, so I can not rule out the other 4. But, from this demo, it’s a hard choice between 3 and 6.

    Thank you again

this is not an accurate or useful demo of anything, why would you play through that amp?( the preamp on those things are too sensitive for a front end fuzz pedal) why would you use reverb? (it masks and confuses the tonal deffintion of the pedals) why would you play big gin blossom chords on a fuzz pedal? (big chords should only be attemted with germanium fuzz) why would you play a fuzz with a humbucker? (too hot of a signal can destroy the tone of a fuzz) why wouldnt you have shown the characteristics of the fuzz by rolling back the tone on the guitar?(with the tone on zero on the neck pup you will get a big difference in tone from pedal to pedal) you need to redo the demo useing a fender bassman and a gibson sg with 2 p90s. and play leads (with big 2 note bends) next time.
PS… the danelectro has tone switches inside the battery compartment, you should mess with them next time.
not trying to make anyone mad, Its just that the current demo is simply not a good depiction of the intended sound of the pedals

  3. Steve says:

  4. Mirko says:

love the boss fuzz!!! I can´t believe it myself

  5. Blake says:

Big Muff is best, next is Dunlop Hendrix.

  6. Blake says:

The Big Muff all the way!!!! Next is the Dunlop Hendrix.

  7. Chris says:

Electro Harmonix had best out of the gate at 12 o’clock and didn’t need any fine tuning. The Behringer pedals were surprisingly good considering their price. The Boss was not dynamic at all, the Danelectro seemed harsh. The Dunlop was very nice! Rated best to worst, 1,5,6,2,4,3.
Good job playing the same piece on each so we could get a good appreciation of the sound.

  8. eesti says:

Like the Behringer Super Fuzz but love the Dunlop…sounds more like Hendrix (2 & 6)

  9. Cody says:
