Hello people, this is a post answering the question of how we connect our guitar to amplitube.Amplitube. Amplitube is a program that lets yous play guitar on your computer and emulates different amps and cabinets etc. The answering that I got is thy you have to use an audio interface like the fastrack pro stealthplig, whuch I borrowed from a friend to use with aplitube and it works quite fine.

Offlineyou are doing it right by using a USB interface, because im not sure if it would work on a mic one.
also, amplitube sells some pedals (you can now buy on MF) that you canuse to turn effects on and off, and to change presets and stuff.

OfflineYou can google "insturment to USB converter" and see several manufacturers – or go to any one of the online music stores. M-Audio, Behringer, and others will all work. Just make sure the device is ASIO. You'll also see that some have more In/Out ports, maybe a pre-amp, etc… all effecting the price. The other thing to note is what sampling rate they operate at: 41khz, 44khz, 48 and higher. For most practical uses, you'll never hear any quality difference above 48khz…
