OfflineSad indeed. But, what a reality check on music (musicians to be exact)! Even some of these 'reunion bands'. I think many of them are brought back from the dead by promoters interested in making a buck … but to Anvil's credit – they stayed relevant because they endured. After watching the movie – I have a tremendous amount of respect for Anvil!

OfflineIt's definitely a story of persistence, dedication, and most importantly a love of "metal". Two life long friends make a pact at 14 ( I think) to play until they were old men. Like TTK said they have never stopped making music, and not some reunion band thing. Just a story of childhood friends chasing a dream. Gotta respect them just for that.

OfflineYes – stay tuned … I was invited to their sound check Sat AM and then to their concert Sat @ 2:30.
Since I have a (grandfathered) unlimited data plan on my 4GLTE – I may stream the sound check across Skype so folks can check it out while it's happening. And, of course – the playback will go up Sat night.
