Hey everybody! This is my first time posting on TTK Forum! Long time watcher of the videos, love how down to earth TTK is.
I play a variety of music from metal to ambient/shoegaze stuff and am now starting to pick up classical and jazz again.
Here's a link of my latest ambient creation, I'll update the channel regularly so if you can subscribe that'd be cool!
If you want to know what gear I used just ask :)
Rock on!

OfflineAlrighty I'll start with the guitar :)
It was just a Stagg 335 copy, I love how it sounds even though it is a Stagg
From there I went into Demeter Compulator Compressor –> Micro Pog into the front of my JSX 120W head….
From the FX Loop Send I went MXR Carbon Copy for delay–>Boss DD7 for looping–>Hardwire RV-7 Reverb–>Neunaber WET Reverb(Mono version)–>Eventide Space Reverb–>FX Loop return
Cabwise I used an Avatar 2x12 loaded with celestion v30's and in the flight case is the JSX cab that wasn't used.
I use both cabs together with the JSX head when I'm playing with my main project which is progressive metal or something like that, it's hard to put a name on your own music haha.
All the verb was post loop so I could do a lot of tweaking during the video, I still need to get a designated looper post verb.

OfflineNice! Yes Stagg makes some decent affordable gear. When my son was 9 he started his drum lessons. Back then I bought him a new Stagg Drum Set to start with. That set held up for a long time before he got older and wanted an upgraded kit.
Is your project a band or are you using a generator of some sort for your backing?

OfflineI agree with ESP about the Staag.I bought a Staag electro acoustic a few years ago for around $100 and it is a surprisingly great sounding guitar.

OfflineThat's awesome, Jayhawk. I think it is awesome when value can be found in gear that can hold it's own against he higher priced bigger brand names. I actaully get a rush buying gear like that knowing I didn't need to spend thousands of dollars to get a decent sounding and playable instrument. That's why I am so much into ESP with both it's mainline branded instruments and it's lower cost LTD alternatives. Both levels offer so much value for their price points.

Main project is an actual band, http://www.facebook.com/seethelightband
We're about to release our new album in a few weeks on the 24th which will be available for download at http://www.comeandlive.com/downloads for free!
I'll let ya know when it drops
Thanks! haha, I'm not really banking on us getting big, we're not your run of the mill metal band :D
Plus, I'm still in the 3rd year of college and the other guitar player as well.
2 of our guys are getting married this summer and our drummer is going to be taking a studio position in L.A.
We're just doing it for the fun of playing music together!
Also, here's some of my other ambient stuff and some crappy recordings of metalcore that I thought were cool last year haha.
I'll try and update it regularly.
Here's the new stuff!
One of our slower songs.
