Has anyone ever pedals a pedal from akai? Before people get into it yes I know they're a better constructed Biyang pedal. I just snatched 3 of them that are normally $179 a piece for $30 each on stupid deals of the day.

I just ordered a Blues Overdrive from the SDOTD yesterday. Today I got an email saying it's backordered. Ugh.

Hey Bruce – I saw those – and I was very tempted – but I am on pedal overload right now. I also was jonesing for the Aphex Big Bottom Aural Exciter when it was $99 – but I passed on that too. But – they have been having great deals on pedals. Those Akai pedals look very sweet. Nice score.
@tymj – I've learned – that when you see the deal (no matter where it is), you have to buy quickly – b/c online is always changing (Stock, price, etc.). Sorry to hear your order got cancelled. That really sucks!

Soooo I really like them. The overdrive pedal has the same exact circuit chips as a tube screamer. The blues overdrive is nice too. The distortion pedal is ok, its got only one decent setting. I might resell that but time will tell. I did just order the mesa throttlebox

oh cool – let me know how you like the Mesa pedal. This will be year 2 that Mesa won't be @ NAMM. That coupled with the fact that they are making pedals – tells me that perhaps amp sales are down? My best guess. If so – it's a shame, b/c their quality is top notch. Too many copies at a fraction of the cost. I suspect that caught up to them.

Look into Biyang pedals. They're EXACTLY THE SAME, but way cheaper. Akai are simply rebranded, I have the Biyang AD-8, it works as well as any other analog delay i suppose

i know theyre the same i mentioned that in the first post 
but i do have the distortion for sale to anyone who wants it, that one was $39.99 and im willing to sell it to someone who wants it, been used once for about 5 minutes
