I grew up with the 80's 'raging wall of Marshalls' tone, so the 1990 sounds sweet… but I already have a Marshall.  The 6260 is badass, but if I were to buy a Bugera head – and I plan to – it would(will) be the 333, NOT the 333XL.

#1 – the XL's 'noise gate' doesn't work worth a flip
#2 – I'd rather have the tight/loose damping switch that's on the back of the 333 than the presence knob of the XL, so I'm not paying the extra $50 for 2 features I don't want.
