OnlineWell, I found out I can't use my Digitech RP-255 and run it through the back of my amp. Blackstar Stage 100 Head. When I run it this way the volume is very low. You also cannot plug into the front of the amp, you must go thru the RP-255. When you take this and run it thru the front of the amp ( Main input) the effects will work and the volume is good and loud. The only problem with that has a hard digital edge to it sound wise. I guess I am just going to have to get a seperate chorus, Uni-Vibe, Flanger, Ect. and run those thru the effects loop in the back of the amp.
Exactly how were you running the RP255 in your effects loop?
Guitar -> Amp Input-> Effects Send -> RP255 -> Effects Return ?
Unless I'm mistaken, the RP255 wasn't meant to handle amp's signal post preamp stage. If you just want a myriad of effects (ie. not using the amp modeling), then the Line 6 M9 or M13 would better suit your needs.
