what do YOU use?

I use Dunlop Tortex .88(the green ones) for guitar, and 1mm(the blue ones) for playing bass.

For strings, I use GHS Thick-n-Thin 10-52s.  I have been using GHS strings for the last 6 or 7 years and in that time, I have not broken a SINGLE string!  Seriously, not ONE!

For cables, I use Monster cables – not because I think they are any better than any other name brand, but because of the lifetime warranty. I know that it's a one-time purchase, and should anything happen, it gets replaced, no questions asked.

I started out using Ernie Ball Super Slinky #9's, then I tried out ClearTone coated Elec. strings #10's.

One thing for sure is they last. I'm going to check out GHS Boomers next.

Picks-The Dunlop Ultex Sharp .73 this is one sweet pick, no wonder it won awards.

I use Schaller strap locks on all my guitars.

Monster Cable "Rock" 12 ft cable

One Black SRV strap by " LM " and a super soft suede brown strap by Franklin straps.

Right now, for strings, I use GHS Boomers 11-50 on my Schecter which is tuned in Eb.  They sound pretty good, just too much tension.

I have Dunlop Extra Heavy 13-56's on my ESP, which is tuned to Standard B.  Its a good tension, but they sound very, very dull.

I might do what Nght is doing any go back to D'Addario.  I found they were the best sounding and I liked the 10-46's on my Schecter, and I want to try their 13-56's on my ESP.

As for Picks, I've been using cheap First Act picks, but my Dulop Jazz III's recently came in.  They're pretty small on my hands, but they get the job done WAY better than my first act ones.

As for cables, my instrument cable is a cheapo First-Act 20' my friend gave me.  It gets the job done, so I'm not complaining.  For connecting effects, I have a Sweetwater Amphenol  3' cable and an unnamed 1' cable I used to connect the preamp of my amplifier into a cabinet simulator.

As for the straps, i use a Dimarzio Clip Lock White Nylon strap on my schecter and a Levi Suede Leather strap on my ESP.

Most of the stuff was gifts, but I can't afford new stuff right now… Being jobless sucks.

Update on my cables. I now use Mogami for all connections.  I wish they made their pedal cables with a flat head as it is hard ro connect the Pigtronix Pedals with regular pedal cables. It is a very small pedal.
