I'm a firm believer that every nice guitar deserves a nice case to protect it. So today I just finished ordering several cases for some of my recent guitar purchases. Prices really jump around based on what retailer you shop at, so I ended up buying from 3 different suppliers in order to get a better price for each particular case. Only 1 didn't include Free Shipping (Elderly Music), but they had it discounted the case enough that even with the shipping added, they were still the price to beat for that particular case.

The case I ordered from Elderly was the ESP fitted case  for the LTD ST-320. And for the second time around Beat Street Music came through with a ESP fitted case for the Gunslinger. Beat Street is also where I got the fitted BC RICH case for the TTK-1 Mockingbird. Finally was an ESP acoustic case for the AC-20 EFM STG. That was found at audiomidi.com who is an online re-seller for ESP.

Nice dude Im the same way I always keep my Les Paul and Kramer with their tools in their hardshell cases,

It helps protect them from things like water, humidity, dust.  Basically all things bad for guitars, I now need to get a good hard case pedalboard for my effects.

Exactly typically have used a planet waves case humidifier to keep the guitars properly humidified in their cases, but I recently starting using the Herco Guitar Humidifiers for placement in the case. They're only $5 a piece and only require recharging every 1 to 2 months. In addition to costing more, the Planet Waves case humidifier dried out in under a week and required more frequency of recharging.

Recharging the Herco humidifier merely involves submerging them in water (I use distilled) for about 5 minutes. The guitar show no signs of drying with them in the case.

yeah I hear that planet wave makes mediocre products… the only thing I've ever bought from them was a 3 pack of 6 inch right angle patch cables… the cables are good but the packaging was very bad the male to female jacks could have been broken if it wasn't boxed right by amazon.com

I used to like the P.W. products, but they don't seem to hold up at all. I needed a guitar cable in a hurry one tome and the shop I was at had Planet Waves cables in the length I needed. It was junk. So much noise through it magnified by a loose connection at one of the plug ends. Fortunately I saved my recept and was able to return it. I got a Fulltone cable in it's place.
