I need a new bridge pickup for my les paul the one i have is just too far on the bright side. its a gibson burstbucker 2.   I know this is shitty but i dig the sound of my epiphone les paul Alnico classic humbucker just in the bridge the one in the neck sounds terrible.  I've been looking the low to medium outputs and have set my eyes on the seymour duncan 59 model, the pearly gates, the seth lover model, and the alnico 2.  Do you guys have any suggests for a LITTLE bit hotter than a vintage pickup for classic rock blues tones?

the pearly gates and jb are good hot but smooth pickups. the 57 classic is also a good one. Epiphones alnico classic humbuckers are based off the 57 classic if that helps you out.

Amps - Marshall JCM 2000, Bogner Alchemist, Orange Tiny Terror, Fender Supersonic. Orange 20ldx. Cabinets - Egnater 1x12 (Celestion G12H), Avatar 4x12 (Greenbacks).Guitars - Fender Toronado, Fender FSR Strat, Fender 72 Telecaster Deluxe, Fender 72 Thinline Telecaster, Michael Kelly Patriot Premium, Epiphone 1956 Les Paul. Cables - Monster and Mogami. Pedaltrain pedal board loaded with a lot of pedals.

The Alnicos are sweet sounding, especially like in this case you're not getting along with the BB's as much. Did you end up doing the swap? If so what do you think?
