I run a 12 space HEAVY ass rack live. I love the tones but I am at the mercy of the tone fairies! I often and at the last minute find a buzz, or my midi controller stops working, or one of the effects units blow out, etc. I have a X3 live as my backup rig. I’ve had just as many compliments on my tone when I’ve used it too. I would switch over completely because it is nice to carry only a guitar case and X3 case to a gig. BUTTTTTTTTTTTttttttT

Here is what stops me from dropping the big rig. if I just run Direct only without a tube amp & cab I loose that life that only a tube amp can bring. It is that Mysterious collaboration of parts that you can feel that allows you to relax and connect with the crowd. I would guess this is where the Tube Combo could really shine!!! All the versatility Plus the TONE without the Weight! That sounds like a good idea to me.

I just ordered a Bugera 1990 having seen your video. I would like to see you use it Friday. Use a LP since that is what most people are using. Even an Epiphone LP would be cool since so may people have them and since the Bugera is an inexpensive tube head it is likely many guys and dolls out there are using Epis. Thanks for all you do.

I would smoke em all and use the randall mts 100 with the sl+ module gain on 3/4.

I wanna see an other review of the 1960 Bugera. Or, if you can to have one, a Wizard Vintage Classic or Modern. It’s really amazing !
