by bigger power section, do you mean a high wattage speaker i.e. if i plugged this ht-5 into my fender frontman 212r 100 watts could it be louder and easily can keep up with a drummer?

Will the head be able to keep up with drums if it has a 4x12" cabinet?

I just went to Guitar Center in Tallahassee, Fl. and they had the 3 piece set for $499. Too bad they are not 12's.
I am ready for some 12's for more bottom end. I cannot wait until the Blackstar 20 Watt head comes out.

hello there! i've got one of this ht-5s. it sounds awesome. My problem is when you connect a delay or a reverb pedal in its effects loop. When you switch from clean to OD, it's ok. But when you switch back from OD to clean, a sudden increase in volume of the amp is produce. Please help Tone King.

Love this amp. Great sound for home use. TK's demo sold me on it. Bought it at 399. However, the price has recently gone UP 200 dollars for the mini stack. That places getting the head and 1x10 at 599 which is the same cost as the new Peavey 6505 1x12 combo. The Ht5 is awesome but the new price warrants new buyers to look elsewhere for more powerful gear at the same price.
